He taught his sons how to make homemade wine and Italian sausage which were two of his favorite activities, and relished in watching them doing what he loved to do.    A caring and loving man, he always offered his home to host a family reunion. His family meant everything to him.

A mechanical engineer by trade, he owned and operated Genovese Manufacturing Company, Inc.  He was an avid golfer and a former member of the Harwinton Lions Club.  Fond of antiques, he also owned the antique store “Remember When”.  Vincent loved to watch birds and enjoyed many days spent at the lake.

He is survived by two sons, Vincent J. Genovese, Jr. of Torrington, CT, Micheal Genovese and his wife Sharon of Harwinton, CT; four grandchildren, Brittany Genovese and her significant other Griffin Mitchell of Harwinton, Autumn Genovese and her significant other Calvin Kapule of Rapid City, South Dakota, Marcus Genovese and his wife Jamie of Custer, South Dakota, April Genovese Johnson and her husband Josh of Tuscan, Arizona as well as six great grandchildren.  Everyone who knew Vincent loved and adored him.  He will be missed by many family members, friends and associates.
