Richard "Butch" Dean

Richard “Butch” Dean, 49, of Torrington, CT passed away March 6, 2020.  He was the husband of the late Susan Smith who preceded him in death in 2004.

Butch was born June 27, 1970, in Torrington, CT. the son of David and Ginger (Kozlowski) Dean.   He graduated from Harwinton Schools and OWTS. He was employed by Colonial Bronze for 25 years as a machinist.

Butch was a Masonic Brother, and a member of the Torrington Gun Club, and a member of the NRA where he was a range safety officer.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Edith Kozlowski; a daughter, Heather Dean; one sister, Stefanie Cisowski and her husband Dan; one niece Michaela Cisowski and one nephew, Brendan Cisowski.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vincent Kozlowski.
