Martha (Hilzendegen) Colucci

Martha (Hilzendegen) Colucci, 80, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Brandywine Senior Living.  She was the wife of the late Vito Colucci.

Martha was born July 27, 1938, in Ludwigshafen, Germany, daughter of the late Theodore and Dora (Badder) Hilzendegen.  She was employed by the Torrington Company and then at AlTek in the Inspection Department until her retirement.  A devoted mother and grandmother, she was a communicant of St. Peter Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Jenny Holmes of Mohawk, NY, Patricia Ferraiolo of Naugatuck, CT; one son, Vito Colucci of Pennsylvania; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, with the cortege leaving at 10:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 107 East Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
