Rosemary (Keegan) Devino

Rosemary Ellen (Keegan) Devino passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was born on April 25, 1932, to Edna Marie Purdy and Frank Keegan.  She proudly carried both her grandmothers’ names, Mary O’Brien and Ellen Harrigan.

Rosemary taught elementary school for 32 years.  She lost her husband, Paul, after 52 years of marriage and most of his family whom she loved and treasured as her own.

She leaves her daughters, Kathleen Devino of Torrington and Doreen Marie Duncan of Thomaston; her grandchildren, Brenna Duncan, Chris Duncan and family of Thomaston, Paul and Tory Duncan of Tennessee and Janelle Duncan and Craig Matta of Virginia; her beloved great grandchildren, Serena, Gwen and Bella; her special family, LeaAnne and Jamie Hoffman, Mark Quint, Bob Newsome, Kristy O’Sullivan and Frank Quick; her nephew and godson, David Bunnell and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  There are no calling hours.
