My sympathy for the death of your loved one. I know that this is a very difficult time for you, having lost loved ones myself in the past. Please know that our loving heavenly father knows and understands the many pains that you bear, at this time. Talk to God in prayer: (Psalms 55:22). The Holy Scriptures assures us that our loved ones will live again by means of the resurrection. - Act 24:15. Please read John 5:28-29. What a wonderful time that will be! Have faith in the promises of God.

Barbara, Gary, and family,

My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

I've only seen Jimmy a few times in the past years, but I still thought of him as a very good friend.

I can never forget the good times we had in our younger years, Jimmy with his unbelievable mechanical ability, and his night shift job making donuts at Bess Eaton.

Two things about Jimmy stand out in my memory. One was the time he put a 3 hp Briggs & Stratton engine on the back of a bicycle. Full-size bicycle wheel in front, and a go-cart wheel in the back that had a centrifugal clutch. Jimmy would be sitting about 2 feet off the ground riding this thing, and it would probably go about 30 miles an hour. I've never seen anything like it before or since. What a creative mind he had.

The other thing that comes to mind is when he put a 318 cubic inch Chrysler motor in a 1953 or 1954 Chrysler, or Dodge, I forget which it was. He would start going up E. Main St. and someone with a Hot Rod will pull up on the side of him and try and drag race Jimmy up East Main Street . Jimmy would hit the gas and his old car would fly, embarrassing the person that was on the side of them thinking he could beat his old beat up car. Only Jimmy would think about putting a huge engine in an old clunker of a car. I'm sure his brother Gary remembers that car.

And of course the nights we spent keeping Jimmy company while he was frying donuts and Bess Eaton.

What a shame he had to leave us so soon. My heart goes out to all his family and friends.

Sincerely,
Jerry and Kathy Dombeck
