Elsa M. (Nunez) Castillo

Elsa M. (Nunez) Castillo, 54, of Torrington, CT, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of Roberto Castillo. 

Elsa was born March 6, 1962, in the Dominican Republic, daughter of the late Ramon and Segunda (Nunez) Diaz. 

She is survived by two sons, Eric R. Castillo and Edgar Castillo and one daughter, Stephanie Castillo all of Torrington; two siblings, Santa Diaz and Bienvenido Nunez of the Dominican Republic; two grandsons, Alex and Christopher  Baez, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.   Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016, at Cook Funeral Home.
