Stacia D. (Dziekan) Giacopini

Stacia D. (Dziekan) Giacopini, 90, of Torrington, CT, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at her home.   She was the wife of the late August Giacopini.

Stacia was born March 31, 1932, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Barenski) Dziekan.  She was employed by the Torrington Company as an Executive Secretary until her retirement.

She is survived by her loving godchildren, Diane Nielsen of Middletown, Gerald Graham of Simsbury, and Colleen Fitzgerald as well as many beautiful nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 31, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT.  Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Peter Church.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.
