Nancy Rita (Tonon) Puzinski

Nancy Rita Puzinski (Tonon) - Peacefully went home to God after a long and courageous battle of cancer on February 11, 2021. Nancy was born on February 13, 1961. Adopted and raised by Ugo and Dorothy Tonon of Torrington, Connecticut. She graduated from Torrington High school and went on to be a chef and a baker her whole life and loving what she did.

Nancy loved her girls and always let them know it. She is survived by Elaina Puzinski of Torrington and Elizabeth Puzinski of Hartford. Her parents, Ugo and Dorothy Tonon of Torrington and a Sister Susan Hubbard of Colebrook.

Besides spending time with her family and friends. Nancy always went to the beat of her own drum. She had a passion to draw exquisite drawings of nature. Nancy played music on her guitar. All animals without conviction approved of her and loved her. One thing is for sure, Nancy always made you smile with her bright and energetic personality or her silly jokes. If you ever needed anything, she was always there for you. We are forever grateful for the time that we spent with her and the life and love that she shared with us. She will forever be missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 19, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 160 Main St., Torrington, CT.  Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.  Relatives and friends attending funeral services are reminded to follow CDC recommendations by following social distancing and wearing protective facemasks.
