Nancy L. (Lovallo) Anderson

Nancy Lovallo Anderson, 88 years old, longtime resident of Miami, FL passed away on September 26, 2021. She was born in Torrington, CT.

Nancy graduated from Torrington High School, and the Fashion Academy of N.Y. City. Nancy was a gifted fashion designer, and created many special occasion outfits for her nieces; including their wedding gowns. Nancy, and her husband Timar loved to entertain. Their Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day celebrations were annually anticipated by family and many friends. Nancy’s baking skills were legendary. Her secret recipe Christmas cookies were eagerly awaited by many. Nancy was an avid reader and opera lover. She never missed a Miami performance by Luciano Pavarotti.
She was predeceased by her husband Timar Anderson to whom she was married to for 30 years, her parents Daniel and Antoinette Lovallo, brother’s Leonard, William, and Daniel and sister’s Marie, Min Lovallo, and Mollie Lovallo Ciccarone. She is survived by her sister Antoinette Lovallo LePage of Miami, FL and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Nancy was very kind, compassionate, and generous. She was everybody’s “Aunt Nancy” and will forever be missed and loved.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, with the cortege leaving at 9:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington to St. Peter Church, (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.  Relative and friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.  All attending funeral services are required to wear protective face masks while in church and are requested to wear protective face masks while inside the funeral home.
