Michael T. Beechinor

Michael T. Beechinor, 58, passed away on December 25th, 2020, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after losing a two month battle with COVID-19. He was the beloved husband of Gina (Falzone) Beechinor of 33 years. In addition to his wife Gina, he is survived by his son, Seth Beechinor, his daughter, Vashe Beechinor, both of Harwinton, CT, and his mother Kathy Rinaldi of Torrington, CT. He is also survived by his three brothers, Paul Beechinor of Torrington CT, Jayson Beechinor of New Hartford, CT, and Christopher Nicholas of Torrington, CT.  Michael (Mike) was born in Torrington, CT on June 17th of 1962, the son of Kathy Rinaldi and the late Clifford Paul Beechinor.

Mike was an HVAC contractor and the founder and owner of Beech Air in Torrington, CT, for 29 years. In all 29 years, he held his company to the highest of standards, and took great pride in the work he did for his customers. In addition to taking great pride in his business, he took great pride in his family, and was an outstanding husband, father, and family man.  Mike also enjoyed spending time with his six dogs at home. He really enjoyed fitness, working out, and the outdoors. Mike was always thinking of others before himself, and had a caring spirit. He never hesitated to help a friend in need. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, often going to the gym together, going on weekend trips, and going out to breakfast on the weekends. He lived his life to the fullest, and every time he entered the room, laughter followed him.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home,, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  A Funeral Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours.  All relatives and friends attending must follow CDC recommendations for COVID prevention by following social distancing and wearing protective face masks.
