Josephine V. (Fucci) Dellamarggio

Josephine V. (Fucci) Dellamarggio, 99, of Torrington, CT, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Litchfield Woods. She was the wife of the late Andrew J. Dellamarggio.

Josephine was born October 10, 1921, in Bridgeport, CT, the daughter of the late Frank and Speranza (Masucci) Fucci. She was employed by Reeds Department Store.  

She is survived by one son, Michael Dellamarggio of California; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Andrew A. Dellamarggio, and siblings Alex Fucci, Angelina Fucci, Yolanda (Dolly) Larson, Alberto (Abby) Fucci, and Salvatore Fucci.

Josephine’s family would like to express their gratitude to Sandy, Mary, Christine, Jean, and Audrey, her caregivers from Companions and Homemakers.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Peter Mausoleum. Relatives and friends attending funeral services are reminded to follow CDC recommendations for COVID prevention by social distancing and wearing protective face masks.
