Jaclyn DeAngelo Obituary

Jaclyn Jeanne DeAngelo, 39, of Torrington, CT, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at her residence.  She was the daughter of Susan (Fodor) Ellis and stepdaughter of Tony Ellis. She was predeceased by her father Matthew DeAngelo.

Jaclyn was born January 31, 1984, in Torrington, CT.

In addition to her parents Susan and Tony Ellis of Torrington, CT, she is survived by her sister, Jenna Ellis of Torrington, along with her aunts and uncles; Anne Fodor, Eileen and Christopher Smedick, Mary and Gary Graziani, Michael and Monika Fodor, Patty Clendenin, Virginia Carey, and Ralph DeAngelo, as well as several cousins.

Jaclyn will be lovingly remembered for her giving heart and helpful spirit.  She deeply loved her family and was deeply loved in return.  Jaclyn was beautiful inside and out.  Her funny sense of humor made everyone around her smile.  During her years of waitressing, people were drawn to her because of her kindness and ability to make them feel special. 

She enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend Steve Lavallee, lunches with her sister, vacationing in Florida with her family, and rooting for the New York Yankees. Her bright smile and warm heart will be missed beyond words.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.
