Jackolyn F. (Rylander) Vinisko

Jackolyn F. (Rylander) Vinisko, 86, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Michael P. Vinisko, who preceded her in death on August 22, 2015. Jackie was born August 13, 1935, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Richard and Gladys (Cooper) Rylander.

She is survived by her children Kim, Valerie (Carolee Camacho), Michael, Michele (William McNamara) and Mark (Lisa Musselman); her grandchildren Kari McLeod, Kristin McLeod Young (John), Daniel McLeod (Maria Tercy), Corey Vinisko, Jessica Middlebrook, Baylee Vinisko and Jason Vinisko; her great grandchildren Stella, Marie and Mickey; and sister Betty Hart.      

She was preceded in death by her son Matthew as well as her siblings Gladys Arbusto, Dorothy Dubay, Richard Rylander, Marjorie Hulton and Robert Rylander, all of whom she loved dearly, in addition to many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Valerie Manor for their dedication and compassionate care of Jackie during the pandemic and to the nursing staff at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.  There are no calling hours.
