Cecilia (Mordarski) Carbone

Cecilia (Mordarski) Carbone, 90, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away August 14, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Ralph Carbone.

Cecilia was born August 16, 1931, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Andrew and Lucy (Oles) Mordarski.

She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Clarke and her husband Robert of Goshen, CT, Rita Carbone Lawson and her husband Edward of Ellington, CT, as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, John, and Joseph Mordarski and three sisters, Catherine Grundwalski, Mary Smigel and Lucy Persechino.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
