Carmine Conti

Carmine Conti, 84, of Torrington, CT, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 11, 2023 surrounded by family and friends at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  He was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Teresa (Cazzola) Conti.  Carmine was a dedicated husband, father and friend. 

Carmine was born on November 28, 1938 in Torrington, CT, the son of the late Peter and Helen (Pellegrini) Conti, and was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Conti.  He was employed by the Torrington Company as a Draftsman for many years. Carmine enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, country and bluegrass music, classic TV Westerns, and competitive games of Trivial Pursuit.  He also served as an usher at St. Peter's Church.  

Carmine is survived by two daughters, Louise Beaumont and her husband Bill of Bristol, CT and Lucille Conti of San Jose, CA, and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his son-in-law Robert Donnelly of San Jose, CA.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. to St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.   Entombment will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery.
