Anna Rose (Ossola) Torsiello

Anna Rose Torsiello, 95, was born on December 25th, 1926.  Anna, daughter of Santino and Margaret Ossola passed away on October 30th, 2022.  Anna was the devoted wife of 64 wedded years to the late Chester S. Torsiello. The cherished mother of Richard Torsiello and mother-in-law to his wife Vicki J. Torsiello; grandmother and now guardian angel of her adored granddaughter, Chère Torsiello. Anna was predeceased by her brother, George Ossola and will be sorely missed by sister Catherine and husband Edmond Skibisky, and sister-in-law Mrs. Alfred Torsiello.

Anna stands in our hearts as a reminder of resilience, perseverance, resourcefulness, and love.  Anna’s   outgoing, kindred spirit loved traveling with Chet and celebrating special moments with family and friends. Beaches, boardwalks, entertaining & entertainment, dancing, UConn basketball, shopping, casinos, church, and satisfaction in fine food/spirits/coffee are some of Anna’s beloved pleasures. Also, talking nightly with her sister Kay was a ritual that was not to be interrupted! Anna was a woman of strong faith, believer in the greater good of all, which brought her comfort and peace throughout her life.

Anna’s family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude for the kind support of her neighbors and for the compassionate care of her many caregivers; especially Carole whom Anne loved like family. A special thanks to her doctors and the recent care of the staff at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and Litchfield Woods.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Donations in Anna ‘s memory may be made to a charity of the donor ‘s choice.  In honor of Anna’s legacy and longevity and on behalf of the Torsiello family we wish you all love and laughter and most of all remember to “Keep Smiling”!
