William C. Ferrarotti

William C. Ferrarotti, 74, of Harwinton, CT, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Claire (O’Brien) Ferrarotti for 53 years.

William was born January 31, 1944, in Torrington, CT, son of the late William and Leona (Sochocki) Ferrarotti.  Upon graduation from the University of Hartford, William was employed by S.N.E.T for 28 years before establishing CMF Communications as owner and operator for 25 years.  He was an EMS instructor for 30 years, Chief of the Harwinton Ambulance Association, as well as a member of the CQ Radio Club.  He enjoyed woodworking and many family vacations to his “happiest place on earth” Disney World in Orlando.

In addition to his wife Claire, he is survived by three sons, Timothy  and his wife, Susan of New Hartford, Terrence and his wife, Tina of Harwinton, Kevin and his wife, Morgan of Rocky Hill; two daughters, Suzanne Smith and her husband, Brian of Harwinton, Kristen Harmon and her husband, Thomas of Torrington;  ten grandchildren, Brian, Adam, Christopher, Marie, Patrick and Samantha Ferrarotti, Matthew and Kayleigh Smith and Caitlyn and Tasha Harmon as well as one brother, Robert of Harwinton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 11, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 78 Litchfield Rd., Harwinton.   Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.  Entombment will follow at St. Peter Mausoleum.  Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.
