Lorraine Y. (Valliere) Dubreuil

Lorraine Y. (Valliere) Dubreuil, 90, of Torrington, CT, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Valerie Manor. 

Born in West Warwick, RI, on August 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Aime and Rosanna (Gervais) Dubreuil.  She was a communicant of St. Francis Church.

Ms. Dubreuil was employed by Bradlees for seventeen years as a Dept. Manager.  She later was Owner of The Ugly Duckling Boutique until her retirement. Thru the past years, Ms. Dubreuil belong to several organizations.  She was a member of the Altrusa Club, FISH, and the Torrington Democratic Club.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Karen Dubreuil and Linda Hamm, both of Torrington; four grandchildren, Kenneth Bierce Jr. (Laura), Kevin Bierce, Jason Hamm, Jennifer Jewett (Christopher); five great grandchildren, Candyce Jewett, Jason Hamm Jr., Anna and Alaina Bierce and Kalib Bierce, as well as one sister-in-law Patricia “Patty” Ross of NC.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Norman Dubreuil, Eudore Valliere and Ernest Valliere.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St. Torrington.  Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 at Cook Funeral Home.
