LaRoyce F. (Mercier) McGowan

LaRoyce F. (Mercier) McGowan, 47, of Torrington, CT, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Thomas McGowan.

LaRoyce was born December 30, 1970, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Frank and Patricia (Waitkus) Mercier of Waterbury.  She was employed by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital as an ER Technician, as well as by the City of Torrington as a Police Matron.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she is survived by two sons, Thomas McGowan, Jr, Brendan McGowan; one daughter, Cierra McGowan, all of Torrington; a brother, Thaddeus Mercier of Waterbury; her mother-in-law, Lucille McGowan of Torrington, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  A Funeral Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours.
