Elizabeth "Betsy" A. (Laga) Gallicchio

Elizabeth “Betsy” A. (Laga) Gallicchio, 81, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away on November 15, 2019, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Atty. Joseph J. Gallicchio for 60 years.

Betsy was born November 30, 1937, in Bristol, CT, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Kolsun) Laga.  A wonderful homemaker, spending time with her family were among her happiest moments.  She was an avid golfer and a volunteer at Lourdes Shrine for many years. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Nan Gallicchio of Torrington, CT, Amy Gallicchio of Manhattan, NY, Joseph W. Gallicchio of Providence, RI; one brother, Thomas Laga of Bristol, CT; one sister, Marion Bendt and her husband Ray of Lanham, MD; one grandson, Joshua Lopes, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.  There are no calling hours.
