Edith (DeDominicis) Thibault

Edith (DeDominicis) Thibault, 86, of Litchfield, CT, peacefully passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018, surrounded by her family.   She was the beloved wife of George Thibault for 62 years.

Edie was born September 26, 1931, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Corbo) DeDominicis.  After raising her family, Edie was employed as a Manager for S & H Greenstamps, and later as a Bookkeeper at Cook Funeral Home from where she retired.  Devoted to her faith, she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church.

In addition to her husband George, she is survived by two daughters, Georgann Thibault of Torrington, Carol MacLeod and her husband Bruce of Northfield; one brother, William DeDominicis of Torrington; three grandchildren, Matthew, Mackenzie, Michelle; two great grandsons, Owen and Myles, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Donald DeDominicis.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, with the cortege leaving at 9:15 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 49 South St., Litchfield, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call on Friday, April 20, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
