Thomas A. Grego

Thomas A. Grego, 63, of Torrington, CT passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, with his family by his side. 

Born September 30, 1954, in Torrington, CT, he was the son of the late Anthony “Doc” and Eleanor (Giampaolo) Grego.  He was employed by LARC as a Recreation Specialist for 15 years.

He is survived by one son, Justin Grego and his wife Dongnhu of Rocky Hill, CT; one daughter, Krista Darcy and her husband Andrew of New Britain, CT; one sister, Marlene Hartnett of Torrington; a granddaughter, Isabella Grego;  a nephew, Scott Tibbals  and his wife Grace and their children Jonah and Elliana; a dear cousin, Jo-Ann Miller, and several dear friends, especially a co-worker Holly Laplante.  Tom touched the lives of everyone he met and will be forever remembered.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington, CT.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
