Roger L Cohen

Roger L. Cohen, 51, of Torrington, CT, passed away, Friday, November 6, 2015, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  He was the husband of Debra (Metallo) Cohen.

Roger was born September 9, 1964, in Greensburg, PA, son of Robert L. Cohen, Sr. of York, PA, and Evelyn G. Thompson of West Mifflin, PA.  Being from the Pittsburgh area, Roger loved all things Pittsburgh: The Incline, Point State Park, Heinz Field, PNC Park and most of all the Consol Energy Center, home to his beloved Pittsburgh Penguins, of which he was an avid fan.  He was employed by Price Chopper.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by one son, Andrew W. Cohen of Willington, CT, one daughter, Janay Cohen of New York, NY; four brothers, Robert L. Cohen, Jr. of Centerville, VA, Richard L. Cohen of Greensburg, PA, Randall L. Cohen of West Mifflin, PA, Duane L. Cohen of Wilmerding, PA; two sisters, Debra L. Cohen of West Mifflin, PA, Dana L. Wyman of  Greensburg, PA, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT.  The family would appreciate donations towards funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.  Condolences may be sent to Roger’s family by visiting www.cookfuneralhomect.com
