Goldie (Conforti) Danzieri

Goldie (Conforti) Danzieri, 94, of Torrington, CT, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Valerie Manor. She was the wife of the late Samuel F. Danzieri.

Goldie was born April 30, 1922, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Smith) Conforti. She was employed by the Torrington, Company in Data Entry until her retirement. Since retirement, Goldie has spent 25 years in volunteering at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Gift Shop, AARP, LARK, United Way, and Wisdom House of Litchfield.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Kirschner and her husband Robert of Torrington; two sisters, Rosemary Quinn of Torrington and Patricia Masucci and husband Donald of Winsted;  one granddaughter Julie Cruz and husband Christopher of Pittsburgh, PA; two great grandchildren James and Mila Cruz, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by sisters Phyllis Beyer of Torrington and Elizabeth Pallone Vernali of Norfolk; brothers John Conforti, Robert Conforti of Torrington and Michael Conforti of Missouri.

The family would like to thank the staff at Workman Home, Wolcott Hall, and Valerie Manor for their care and kindness.
