Flavia Marie (Teti) Senese

Flavia Maria (Teti) Senese, 95, of Torrington, CT, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Elia “Leo” Senese.

Flavia was born June 18, 1921, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Murri) Teti.  She was employed by Union Hardware as a Time Keeper, and later by the Municipal Credit Union as the Director until her retirement.  She was a member of the Leisure Time Men’s Club, and in her free time enjoyed baking for her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Anne Senese Sittler and her husband Randy of Goshen, CT; one sister, Concetta Conti of Wallingford, CT; a granddaughter, Jenna Sittler, as well as several nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Michaud.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016, with the cortege leaving at 10:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
