Enes (Bruttomesso) Lopardo

Enes (Bruttomesso) Lopardo, 91, of Torrington, CT, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Leonard J. Lopardo.

Enes was born April 14, 1926, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Evo and Margarita (Francesconi) Bruttomesso.  She was employed by Allied Grocers, as a Head Buyer, until her retirement in 1989.  She was a volunteer at The Warner Theatre, a volunteer of the Torrington Chapter of FISH, and a lifelong communicant of St. Peter Church.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Lopardo and his wife Claudia of Canton, CT, Leonard Lopardo, Jr. and his wife Laurie of Winchester, CT; one daughter, Rita Alfano and her husband Robert of Torrington, CT; one sister, Santina Perazella of Waterbury, CT; five grandchildren, Susan, Tracy, Anthony, Gina, Ross; two great granddaughters, Braeden and Olivia, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore and Sam Bruttomesso, and one sister, Lydia Rossi.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT, to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
