Eileen Martin

Eileen (Mulcahy) Martin, 75, of Litchfield, CT, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. 

Eileen was born September 5, 1940, in Port Chester, NY, daughter of the late Thomas and Katharine (Sharadin) Mulcahy.  She was a private duty health care aide until her retirement.

She is survived by two sons, Lawrence “Larry” Martin, of Northfield, CT, Sean Martin and his wife Jessica of Enfield, CT; two sisters, Betty Burke, Katharine Briggs; two brothers, Thomas Mulcahy, Jr., Donald Mulcahy; four grandchildren, Jennifer Martin, Andrea Martin, Heather Leone, Mathew Leone, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tami Martin.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Edgewood Cemetery, Bound Line Road, Wolcott, CT 06716 with the Rev. Robert F. Tucker officiating.
