Donatella (Adonna) Calabrese

Donatella (Adonna) Calabrese, 83, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Victor Calabrese.

Donatella was born August 7, 1934, in Pontolendolfo, Benevento, Italy, daughter of the late Antonio and Louisa (Rinaldi) Adonna.  She was employed by Commercial Sewing until her retirement. 

She is survived by two sons, Pasquale Calabrese and wife Stella of Argentina, Giuseppe Calabrese and wife Barbara of Torrington, CT; three sisters, Philomena Calabrese of Torrington, Nicolina Rinaldi of Torrington, Madelina D’Addona of Montreal, Canada; three grandchildren, Maxi, Josh and Luke, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a sister Antonia D’Addona.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.
