Chad M. Cables

Chad M. Cables, 21, of Burlington, CT, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015.

Chad was born May 22, 1994, in Bristol, CT, he was a graduate of Lewis Mills High School, he was the recipient of an award from the STARS program, for which he received for helping children with special needs.   He was employed by Ticon Pools.  A fan of the NY Giants, he was also an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, basketball, vollyball and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his father Darin Cables and step-mother, Audra of Harwinton; his mother Karen (Vankirk) Wagner and step-father Dave of Burlington, CT; paternal grandmother, Linda Cables of Thomaston, CT; maternal grandparents, John and Charlotte Vankirk of Burlington, CT; two brothers, Erik Cables of Wilbraham, MA, and Colby Cables of Harwinton; one sister, Marissa Strang of Harwinton, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Denis Cables, and his cousin Ryan Eustace.

Calling hours will be held at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, on Saturday, October 3, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, with a Memorial Service being to be held at the conclusion of calling hours.
