Carolyn Grosso Obituary

Carolyn (Martin) Grosso, 91, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away, Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Wolcott Hall.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Grosso.

Carolyn was born November 12, 1926, in New Britain, CT, daughter of the late Berkley and Evangeline (Middlebroook) Martin.  She was employed as a clerk at Anne’s Specialty Shop.

She is survived by two sons, David Grosso (Terri) of Torrington, CT, John Grosso (Catherine) of Watertown, CT; one daughter, Lynn Plevyak (Ronald) of New Hartford, CT; three grandchildren, Dawn, Daniel (Rebecca) and Alexandra Grosso; a great grandson Angelo, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held o Monday, February 19, 2018, with the cortege leaving at 9:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call on Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
