Carol A. (King) Zonghetti

Carol A. (King) Zonghetti, 83, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017, surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of the late Robert Zonghetti.

Carol was born December 26, 1933, in Putnam, CT, daughter of the late Walter H. and Kathryne (Dewey) King.   She was employed as an executive secretary for several medical offices.  She loved to knit, crochet and sew many items for her family and friends, and enjoyed her time as a volunteer for Polly’s Dream.

She is survived by four sons, Ronald Sears and his wife Dana of Winsted, CT, Malcolm Sears and his wife Michele of Torrington, CT, Kenneth Sears and his wife Karen of Eustis, FL, Drew Sears of Torrington, CT; one daughter, Linda Wilcox and her husband Michael of Canton, CT; two brothers, Richard King and his wife Peg of Plymouth, MA, Walter King and his wife Ellenjayne of Winsted, CT; eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
