Antonette (Cataldo) Tedesco

Antonette (Cataldo) Tedesco, 97, of Torrington, CT, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.  She was the wife of the late Angelo Tedesco.

Antonette was born January 1, 1919, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Sabato and Anna (D’Amato) Cataldo.  Along with her husband, she co-owned and operated Angelo’s Market on Wall Street for many years, until their retirement.

She is survived by one daughter, Lucille Neidhardt and son-in-law Bob of Brookfield, CT; one grandson, Kurt Neidhardt and his wife Jeanette of Mahopac, NY; two great grandsons, Mark and Michael, along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Linda Neidhardt.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.   Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
