Dallas Family: My deepest sympathy for the family and friends of Alvin. We will never get used to losing our loved ones in death because as Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, we were created with everlasting life in view. But may you find comfort in knowing that Almighty God promises that soon he will swallow up death forever along with the pain that it brings. (Isaiah 25:8) God also promises to return Alvin to you as it says at John 5:28,29. You can learn more about what happens when a loved one dies at JW.org.
Sincerely,
Susan

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Alvin was a big part of my early life, and I have always appreciated the love and care that he had for me. I will always remember him up at a ridiculous hour of the morning making home fries and breakfast for everybody. He was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed. I hope that you were able to find comfort in the many memories that you have of him and the many lives that he touched.

Dear family,
I am deeply heartbroken to learn of Alvin's passing.
Growing up in Catskill he was a wonderful friend of my mother's.
I will always remember his "sermons" to me and my brother Maurice.
He made me laugh, cry, think and be a better person.
My prayers and condolences are with you all.

My deepest condolence to your family and friends during the most difficult time. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing a loved one. May you find peace and comfort in know that they are in God's memory and he assures us that we will experience the joy of seeing them live again here on this earth. (Job 14:14, 15)
