Ada Mae (Coram) DiGiovanni

Ada Mae (Coram) DiGiovanni, of Torrington, died on May 16, 2016, in Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

Ada was born of Lester James and Mary Elizabeth (Baker) Coram on October 7, 1925, in Linn County, Missouri, as the seventh of ten children.  Ada shared her earlier years with four brothers and five sisters who played important roles in her life. In the late 1940s, Ada moved to San Francisco, California, to live with her sister Delores where Ada became a model and later a supervisor in Fiber Board Paper Co.  In 1952, she married Patsy DiGiovanni of Torrington CT while living in Antioch, California.  Following Pat DiGiovanni’s retirement from U.S. Steele in 1991, Ada and Pat relocated to Torrington.  In Antioch and Torrington, both participated in preparation for daily Mass and as a communicant and were actively involved in Catholic schools. Ada remains a blessing to her family and friends. 

All guests are requested to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial at St Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.  Father Masters, formerly of St Peter’s, will celebrate the Mass.
